1. GARTER STITCH HEADBAND
SUPPLIIES:
Use 5mm straight knitting needles
Worsted weight yarn
Cast on 10 stiches (or whatever width you desire)
Measure your head size
Knit every row (Garter stitch)
Continue in Garter stich until 1/2 inch smaller than your head measurement.
Cast off all of the stitches.
Using a darning needle, stitch ends together.
Apply embelishments if desired
Small Bow Embelishment
Cast on 6-8 stitches
Knit every row until desired size
Cast off all of the stitches
Tie in the middle. Sew on headband.
Add a bitton on top of bow if desired.

2. RIBBED HEADBAND
SUPPLIES:
Use 5mm needles
Worsted weight yarn
Cast on 18 stitches
Work knit 1 purl 1 rib to required length to go around head size
Cast off all of the stitches
Stitch ends together
BOW EMBELISHMENT
Cast on 10 stitches
Work 12 rows ( or required length) in stocking stitch ( KNIT 1 ROW, PURL 1 ROW)
Cast off all the stitches
Wrap yarn around middle knitting to form a bow add button bead etc if desired
Sew bow onto headband

3. WRIST WARMERS
Supp;ies:
5 mm needles
Worsted weight yarn
Cast on 32 stitches (sts)
Row1 - Knit 2 (k2) purl 2 (p2) to the end of the row
Row 2 - k2 p2 to the end of the row
Repeat these 2 rows 5 times each ( Rows 2 to 12)
Row 13 Knit to end (Garter)
Row 14 Purl to end
Repeat these rows 10 times each (Rows 15 to 34) or to required length
Row 35 K2 P2 rib to end of row
Row 36 K2 P2 rib to end of row
Rows 37 and 38 repeat Rows 35 and 36
Cast off all the stitches.
Sew up side seam leaving gap for thumb
Make 2 the same

Next: Inc 1 st at beg and end of each row until 32 stitches on needle
Next: k 2 rows Next: cast off 9 sts at the beg of next two rows (14 sts left on needle) Next: k 12 rows Next: k 2 tog to end (7sts on needle) Next: k 1 row Next: B&T Sew Up …. Stitch on eyes and beak with contrast yarn this pattern can also be made in stocking stitch. **For duck, cast on 3-4 stitches in orange yarn, Knit a couple of rows. Cast off. Sew on bird mouth.
